The Blenman-Elm neighborhood is known for being quiet and peaceful. It's an 8-minute bike ride to the University of Arizona and a short drive to downtown. This unit does not share an entry or rooms with other units but does share walls.
Due to the proximity of this apartment to neighboring units, noise can travel between walls. Good news this is rarely a problem and can be shut out by closing doors and windows or using complimentary earplugs. If you experience higher than normal noise level please contact us 24/7 and we will make sure you get a great night's sleep.
This is a duplex.
A/C in one bedroom, in the living room and one huge evap cooler for the whole house. While there is A/C here, Tucson weather can be extremely hot and our A/C's have difficulties cooling the whole home when this happens. Please do consider this when you book.
Front-Facing cameras outside of the property and at the entrance for your safety.
Please let us know if you will be needing a crib during your stay to ensure its availability. It can be furnished for $25. Bring your own bedding!

The home was well situated and easy to find. The host communicated in a timely manner which we appreciate appreciated. There are extra charges for little things (like an extra dog). The policies are very strict and there were many warnings throughout the process and property that if we didn’t comply with the rules, there would be multiple extra charges. And lastly, the kitchen was not well stocked and had very few basics. Jessica

Es una casa vieja, con los muebles viejos y nada cómodos, está pequeña la casa y el costo muy elevado para el tipo de alojamiento. Te cobran un seguro que no te dicen hasta después de reservar y tienes que llevar un formulario te piden el pago de $250dlls que dicen es reembolsable pero no confié que tan seguro podía ser y te dan la opción de pagar $35dlls. Es un costo adicional de un es obligación pagar y no dice en la publicidad. La cocina muy pequeña y la mesa muy incómoda, los sillones muy viejos que te vas para abajo igual las camas. Es muy costoso para lo que ofrecen. Si pides un tiempo adicional para salir te cobran extra, por todo cobran extra sin mencionarlo en la publicidad. W

Good location, but "Beware of 3rd party off-site check-in and deposit"
Positive: Keyless entry instructions are slightly wrong, as the 1st touch on keyboard must NOT be on a number. Took quite a few attempts to realize the problem, but then no problems once the procedure was known.
Negative: Nice clean basic place, but Beware! After reserving though booking.com, you will receive an email from "Welgo" with a "Boarding Pass" link. In order to receive check-in instructions and door code, you have to fill out the "Boarding Pass" questionnaire, make a $250 refundable damage deposit to a 3rd party off-site website, and attach a copy of your ID. I reluctantly did all these steps, but the listing should be upfront and transparent that they use a 3rd party website with lots of hoops to jump through. Also, you will not receive the door code until your check-in time, although the website does not let you know about this timing. The place is nice, it looks better in the photos. I only stayed one night, and to get my access code, I had to pay a refundable deposit of $250. It was my first time being asked for a security deposit. I didn't read the house rules beforehand, only on my way there. The deposit amount seemed excessive (double the cost of the stay), but I had to pay it since the reservation wasn't refundable. The host offered to process the payment through a platform other than Airbnb, but I told him I preferred to pay through Airbnb, which he did. After checkout, I asked about my deposit, and he said it would take 3 to 5 business days to be returned to my account. After that time, the refund still hadn't appeared, and the host recommended calling my bank. My bank said they needed a receipt for the refund, which I didn't have. At this point, I decided to contact Airbnb to arrange the refund through their platform, and it was eventually resolved. This situation took more time and attention than I wanted.
